Frank Lewis Emanuel was a British artist, teacher and writer, most known for his drawings and etchings. Emanuel founded the Society of Graphic Art (SGA) and was an examiner for the Royal Drawing Society and author of 'Etching and Etchings: a guide to the technique and to print collection', Pitman, 1930. Despite never being a household name, Emanuel’s work can be found in internationally acclaimed galleries including the Tate Gallery, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford and the Victoria and Albert Museum.
