18 Cecil Court - Print Quarterly Launch and Prints and Drawings from the 16th to the 20th Century

Emanuel von Baeyer Gallery hosts a drinks reception for the launch of Print Quarterly's March and June issues, alongside a new exhibition of Prints and Drawings from the 16th to the 20th Century.

Founded in 1984, Print Quarterly is the leading international journal dedicated to the art of the print, from its origins to the present day. As a peer-reviewed journal, it publishes recent scholarship on printmaking including Asian, Latin American and African art, as well as the Western tradition. We are delighted to collaborate with Print Quarterly for this evening.

For this occasion, alongside our current exhibitions – Carel de Nerée tot Babberich, Cas Campbell: Under the Coral Sea – we will display a fine selection of prints by and after Parmagianino and his circle. This display will be in honour of Catherine Jenkin’s catalogue of Parmagianino’s etchings, published in the June issue of Print Quarterly.

Drinks Reception:
18 Cecil Court, London, WC2N 4HE
6 - 8pm, Thursday 2nd July, 2026

Launching alongside the March and June issues of Print Quarterly, this exhibition presents a wide selection of prints and drawings from the 16th to the 20th century. This selection bridges the gaps between the symbolist tradition represented by Carel de Nerée tot Babberich and Cas Campbell's glazed stoneware from Under the Coral Sea; between the works by and after Parmagianino specially displayed for the Print Quarterly Launch, and the Secessionist masterpiece by Fritz Behn displayed upstairs.
