Emanuel von Baeyer Gallery's new display, Impressionist Printmaking.
Drinks Reception: 18 Cecil Court, London WC2N 4HE,
6 - 8pm, Thursday 2nd October.
Emanuel
von Baeyer Gallery is delighted to present our new exhibition
featuring artists’ books, prints, drawings, pastels and watercolours by Narcisse Virgilio Díaz de la Peña (1807–1876), Jean-François Millet (1814–1875), Adolph von Menzel (1815–1905), Léon Augustin Lhermitte (1844–1925), Max Liebermann (1847–1935), Lovis Corinth (1858–1925) and Max Slevogt (1868–1932).
There will also be a focused display dedicated to the esteemed artist Ulrike Theusner (b.1982) whose etching technique is reminiscent of Slevogt and Corinth in particular.
Her recent etchings reflect on political turmoil, ghosts, rituals, and the fractured spirit of modern life.
