Vintage gelatine silver print by Hilmar Pabel (1910 Rawitsch -  2000 Alpen, near Wesel). Size of sheet: 28.2 x 20.7 cm. Signed with photographer’s stamp verso and with various inscriptions by the photographer.

One of the very few vintage prints, before a small edition was reprinted in 1996.

From 1961 to 1970, Pabel worked as a photographer for the German weekly Stern, by whom he was assigned the visit with Picasso on the occasion of the artist’s 70th birthday.
